We call the supercharging system that helps compress the air that circulates to the engine a turbocharger. The turbine is connected to the engine exhaust manifold. The exhaust gases rotate the turbine, attached to the air intake. The intake air is compressed and is introduced under pressure into the engine's combustion chambers. This system allows more power to be generated, increasing the thermodynamic performance of the engine.
TYPES OF TURBOCHARGERS:
- STANDARD TURBO
- STANDARD TURBO WITH DISCHARGE VALVE
- VARIABLE GEOMETRY TURBO
- VARIABLE GEOMETRY TURBO WITH ELECTRONIC ACTUATOR
- DUAL SEQUENCE TURBOS
